Netflix has released a new promotional video for the second season of The Squid Game, which kicks off on December 26, 2024. The Squid Game has now been officially renewed for a third season, which will be the final season of the series and will air in 2025.
According to the information leaked so far, in Season 2 protagonist Sung Ki Hoon is determined to find out who is behind the game and put an end to the brutal game after winning the first season.
He will use the prize money to fund his investigation, starting with the man in the suit he bumped into at the subway station. However, tracking down the truth is far more dangerous than he imagined, and he’ll have to get involved again in order to end the game once and for all.
There isn’t much in the way of cringe-worthy footage in this release’s teaser video, which is more about building tension.
Sung Ki-hoon returns as contestant #456, scrutinizing a room full of uniformed contestants destined for a horrific end.
