On May 14, Google announced at the I / O 2024 developer conference that it will invite Workspace and Google One AI Premium users next month to experience a new version of Gmail that will allow Gemini to summarize email content.
Users can use Gemini in both the mobile app and the web version of Gmail to ask questions about the content of the current email or have Gemini compose a response based on the context of the email.
Google has already introduced Smart Reply in Gmail, but this new version brings “Contextual Smart Reply” for more detailed and better responses based on context.
